Stagecoach Daffodil Bus for Marie Curie to hit the road in March
A daffodil bus to remember those people lost through terminal illnesses is to be launched by Stagecoach Midlands in support of its ongoing support of Marie Curie.
It’s a new twist on the Marie Curie Great Daffodil Appeal, held each March since 1986 to raise vital funds to help those people with a terminal illness and their families to make the most of the time they have left.
Now, members of the public have a unique opportunity to see their tribute to a loved one travel roads around the East Midlands.
Stagecoach Midlands is only taking orders until the end of February so you’re advised to be quick if you don’t want to miss out.
To participate, you will need to fill out the form (see link below) and for a minimum donation of £5, your vinyl daffodil will be respectfully attached to the bus which will take to the road in mid-March.
Gainsborough, Grimsby, Hull, Lincoln, Mansfield, Newark, Retford, Scunthorpe, Skegness and Worksop are among the bus routes covered by the daffodil bus.
In 2015, more than 40,000 people received care and support from Marie Curie so raising funds is vital to continue this important work.
